My Surgery (after)

Two days ago was my surgery on tonsils and adenoids. As I said three days ago, I wasn't worried at all... (for a little bit, anyways!) So I got a bracelet to let them know I was the person having surgery, and then the nurse took everyone to my waiting room; It was a GREAT waiting room!! The bed was extremely comfortable, I could adjust the bed however I wanted, there was a TV, and POPSICLES!! We were waiting in that room for about an hour, most of the time the nurses came in and gave me about 200 shots that were really painful, and then numbed my two hands when they put in the IV which allows me to have medicine in my veins without getting a shot. The doctors were very impressed that I got my IV in before the surgery! I have to admit I did cry a little when I was going in to the operating room and don't ask me why! The last thing I remember before my surgery started was that one of the doctors put a mask on my face and then a couple seconds later, I was in a different room. Actually I kind of forgot I was in the hospital after I woke up but then the nurse talked to me and told me it was time to go back to my parents, I was pretty sure at that point I was no where else. As I got wheeled into the waiting room, I was still tired but I could talk! Then, I got a popsicle, which I only ate half of, and some ice cubes. After about an hour or two, it was time for me to go home! The best part of that whole time at the hospital was that I got to get wheeled out in a wheel chair. That was the experience of my first surgery!

Tomorrow, I am having surgery on my tonsils and adenoids. At first I was a little worried but now, I am not worried at all. Mainly the reason is because I get popsicles and ice cream for two weeks, and I get presents! Plus, I won't even really remember anything about the surgery or when I am at the hospital....... which is good news!I know that because multiple people have told me I won't notice or remember ANYTHING and that it will go by faster than you know it. The only bad part though, is that my surgery is at an Appleton hospital and I will be at my dad's house in Green Bay! Oh, and I forgot to add the surgery is at 6:00 AM!! Everything besides the time and the place is GREAT! So for two weeks, I will basically be living the dream!:)

My Extended Weekend

To start out my weekend, today was a half day at school. We watched a movie and had an extra recess and then art. After school (kind of) we went to chili's, (for the seond time this week!) with the kitzmans! I must confess that I had the same thing I did 6 days ago.. cheese quesidillas and strawberry lemonade with fries. That is my top meal this week. Then, after a delicious lunch, I went to the mall with the kitzmans and got back about two seconds ago! For tommorow, I am basically doing nothing until my aunt jenny get here at about 10:00 P.M. because she is moving here from Washington! Now, if you have seen me in the last week, you have heard me say this about 1,000 times so this in not new news for you! Suday, nothing much (AGAIN)  except for a church picnic (not Living Hopes':( and going to church! To wrap my "extended weekend", i am going to my friend, Jenna's house! That is my to be weekend!

My Weekend (HAPPY EASTER!)

Well, it all started on Friday.. Good Friday, which was also my dads birthday. I had spring break (and still do until Monday:) so I was home all day long!! Then at about 5 or 5:30, my dad, Andrew and I headed for First Assembly Church for the service. It was good.... enjoyable I guess; The only reason I say that is because right after that, people where coming to our house to celebrate my dads birthday! The best part is, is that we got COOKIE CAKE! (yum). After the DELISH cake, it was PRESENT time. I mean I know that it wasn't my birthday but, when my dad opened the present from Becky I wished it would have been my birthday.......... a WATER DISPENSER!!!!!!!! That was pretty much the highlight of the night for me. Plus, after I went to bed at 12:30, I  dreamed about using that water dispenser!! Saturday was pretty low on doing events except for when the clock ticked to 4:00, my family and I were on our way to a Milwaukee Bucks game:) The bucks were playing the Blazers which of course we dominated 114 - 88 because that was the first time I have EVER heard of the blazers and I love the NBA!! Lastly, today... today was Easter Sunday!!! Now, I know that it's not about candy and the easter bunny but it was kind of cool to get chocolate at church this morning!! After church we went out to 1951 with the Bantamois and the Fishers and what a coincidence that we saw my Aunt Kim and Jenny there as we were looking for the Fishers and Bantamois!! I mean I don't know about you but I don't think that happens everyday; out of all the brunches and restaurants there are, we happened to see them there.Well, that was my Good Friday/Bucks Game/ Easter Weekend. Oh and..... HAPPY EASTER!!!!

SPRING BREAK!

Yesterday was my last day of school for about, 10 days but still.... it's SPRING BREAK! Even though there's really bad weather I don't have to go to school!At the end of each month in school we have an incentive with our grade. Yesterday was ice cream and an "extra recess". I had EVERY single topping and syrup there was and it was surprisingly delicious!! After school ended at 11:30 (sweet) i went to Happy Joes with my friend, megan. It was AMAZING and then.... I had to go to a doctors appointment:( Well, nothing really happened except for i have to get my adnoids AND tonsils taken out. The only reason I'm a little happy about that is because i get to stay home for 2 weeks and i get to have popsicles an ice cream and everything else that my parents would never let me have EVERY SINGLE day!!!! SO, that was the start of my spring break!:)

One day, it was super warm outside... Like two days ago:) and my mom asked me if I wanted some Dairy Queen and of course I wasn't going to deny it so I got my favorite........
